Court Bars Nine Accused Scammers From Downtown Entertainment District

The injunction targets a group prosecutors say has been targeting tourists on Lower Broadway with schemes involving phone payment apps. While downtown remains as busy and safe as ever for the vast majority of visitors, it's a reminder to keep an eye on your phone and wallet in the crowds near the honky-tonks.
