O'Charley's, the Nashville-Born Chain, Closes All Middle Tennessee Locations

Employees say they were given almost no warning as the chain's parent company reported falling sales — the closures mark the end of a brand that started blocks from Vanderbilt's campus over 50 years ago.
It's a reminder that Nashville's dining scene keeps turning over fast; longtime local chains are increasingly giving way to new openings around the city.
