The Cordelle

The Cordelle occupies one of the last Victorian homes left standing this close to Broadway, opened as a wedding venue in 2014 by co-owners Leigh Watson, Nealy Glenn, and Chandra Watson. Less than a mile from Music City Center, it's a rare case of getting genuine 19th-century architecture — original arched doorways, period woodwork — without asking guests to drive out of downtown.

The property's real differentiator is outdoors: the largest private greenspace in downtown Nashville, a garden built for ceremonies that doesn't feel carved out of a parking lot. Inside, the Great Hall handles seated and standing receptions for up to 250, there's a separate Victorian-era room for a more intimate vibe, and a furnished loft with its own balcony entrance for a bridal suite or lounge.
